ISN & Subcontractor Safety
Caravan has partnered with ISN to improve workplace safety and to reduce the risks associated with outsourcing work to subcontractors. ISN will help us streamline our subcontractor selection process by collecting and verifying important qualification information into an easy-to-read scorecard, allowing us to quickly identify subcontractors that meet our standards.

Caravan Safety Incentive Program
The Caravan Safety Incentive Program has been a strong factor in building our safety culture. Each month, four employees win a $125 gift card. Employees are qualified for the random drawing by being free of recordable injuries and safety violations for 3 consecutive months. If they continue the positive safety record all year, they are entered into the grand prize drawing where four employees win a $250 gift card.

Caravan Safety Coin Program
The purpose of the Safety Coin Program is to help build a strong safety culture and serve as a constant reminder for employees to work safe. It also allows managers to engage the employees and demonstrate true care and concern, while giving the employees positive reinforcement for participation.
How It Works
- Program training delivered to each site
- Each employee receives coin upon completion of training
- Employee carries coin as a constant reminder to work safe
- Managers randomly engage an employee in safety dialogue
- If the employee is carrying the safety coin, they receive a reward
The employees who are carrying the safety coin when approached receive a gift card. Regardless, whether they are carrying their coin or not, a safety discussion takes place. Questions are asked, such as: "What can you do to prevent injury?" and "What can Caravan do to keep workers safe?"

Integrated Management System (IMS)
Caravan is certified in three international standards, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001. The processes that support these standards for our Quality, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems overlap and connect. Caravan has integrated the three management systems into one system in an effort to maximize these synergies. Caravan refers to this system as the Integrated Management System. The Integrated Management System Policy comprises Caravan’s Quality, Environmental, and Safety Policy.
INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM POLICY
Caravan Facilities Management, LLC, as a provider of facilities management services, is committed to customer needs and continual improvement, while protecting employees, preventing injury and ill health, and preventing pollution. This is achieved through the Integrated Management System (IMS) which provides a framework for establishing and reviewing quality objectives, environmental objectives and targets, and occupational health and safety (OH&S) objectives. Caravan is committed to the compliance of legal and other requirements which relate to our quality system, environmental aspects and OH&S hazards.
